1. How to make River Song's Tardis Journal

    consulting-timelady:

I did it and it’s not difficult! You can make a little mess but it is worth it!

    What do you need:

    - A notebook

    - Cardboard

    - Scissors

    - Glue

    - Tardis blue ink

    How to do it:

1- Draw this (or print this) in the cardboardimage

2- Cut only the black parts and past…

…I am wanting to watch some Classic Doctor Who. I took a suggestion from a site to start with the episode The Five Doctors and then pick my favorite one and watch his runthrough. Well, my favorite one happens to be the Second Doctor, and I know most of his episodes are lost because of archiving and stuff. Where is a site where I can watch episodes of his (ones that are still available)?

Thank you to my fellow helpful Whovians! I will check the sites out you have given me. :)

  4. I am starting to watch Classic Doctor Who. This site:  http://www.tor.com/blogs/2012/07/how-to-who-on-starting-to-watch-classic-doctor-who gave me good advice on how to start, so I started with this exact episode:  The Five Doctors. I am in love with The Second Doctor, and it’s a shame most of his episodes are lost. :(

  5. Picture of all Doctors, including the War Doctor, started in SP-Studio, with the main bulk of the work finished in Photoshop. Made by me.
Please reblog…don’t repost just the picture. Thank you!

  6. I think I can actually get behind this movie! Now if they will explain why the hell Iron Man doesn’t have a big gaping hole in his chest, I’ll be all for it. :)

  7. First, I want to thank you for sending me a polite ask. I appreciate it. :)

I do know in the comics he was Donald Blake (created by his father so Thor could learn humility), and I think Loki turned Thor into a Frog. And though I would never go so far as to say some of the hateful comments I’ve seen people saying (that it’s about feminism, etc., etc.,), to me it just feels like they’re doing it for the sake of doing it. *shrugs*

  8. What I’m REALLY not understanding is saying that this as-of-yet unnamed character is Thor. She is not Thor. At best, she’s holding the hammer of Mjolnir. And what I REALLY don’t understand is making him regress and become unworthy, again, when he’s supposedly learned his lesson. I’m not going to knock the people who like it, but I just can’t get behind this announcement.

Color meme - Garrus in #58 for windwey!
Um, of course I’ll take the excuse to draw one of the sexiest aliens EVER. I also realized I’d never drawn him before so I’m glad that got remedied! /swoon

I demand to know why this doesn’t have more likes or reblogs.
Garrus kicks ass. :3

The truly inspiring story of the Chinese rubbish collector who saved and raised THIRTY babies abandoned at the roadside

A woman has been hailed a hero after details of her astonishing work with abandoned children has emerged.

Lou Xiaoying, now 88 and suffering from kidney failure, found and raised more than 30 abandoned Chinese babies from the streets of Jinhua, in the eastern Zhejiang province where she managed to make a living by recycling rubbish.

She and her late husband Li Zin, who died 17 years ago, kept four of the children and passed the others onto friends and family to start new lives.

Her youngest son Zhang Qilin - now aged just seven - was found in a dustbin by Lou when she was 82.

‘Even though I was already getting old I could not simply ignore the baby and leave him to die in the trash. He looked so sweet and so needy. I had to take him home with me,’ she said.

    Full story

Why doesn’t this have more notes?
This woman is nothing short of an angel.

She has so little and gives so much, and organizations such as the government and school systems won’t do anything for this cause.
I am at loss of words at this lady’s sacrifice.

  12. This song and movie were both a HUGE part of my childhood. :)
